We explain the choices that follow, including the reasons to buy, borrow, repair, reuse or leave something alone.
What you can expect
Our guides use original editorial writing and publicly available information from official retailers and relevant sources. They discuss selection criteria and tradeoffs. We do not invent purchases, first-person product tests, reader testimonials, professional credentials or a history of brand partnerships. Stock photographs illustrate the subject; they are not portraits of our editorial team or evidence of a named product test.
