Technical website requests
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website. Requests can involve technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, time and security-related events. The hosting provider processes this information to deliver content, maintain reliability and protect the service. We do not operate visitor accounts or ask visitors to sign in.
Search and correspondence
The article search operates in your browser against a public article index. The site code does not send search terms to an analytics service or build a visitor profile. If you contact us by email, your email provider and ours process your message, address and included information. Use correspondence for the stated editorial or business purpose and do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Cookies and analytics
The current site code does not set optional advertising, affiliate attribution or analytics cookies. We do not load third-party advertising pixels. The hosting provider may use necessary technical measures depending on security circumstances. See our Cookie Notice and Cloudflare privacy notice for provider context.
Retailer and other external links
When you follow a link, the destination website applies its own privacy practices and may receive standard browser request or referral information. Our current merchant links do not contain our affiliate tracking identifiers. We do not receive your payment details or retailer account information from ordinary link visits.
Use, retention and sharing
We use correspondence to handle the request, manage relevant business records and address legal obligations where applicable. Keep information only as needed for those purposes and do not sell correspondence as a customer list. Service providers may process information to deliver hosting and email services. No fixed retention promise is made for providers’ independent technical records; their policies govern those records.
Your choices and requests
You can control browser storage and contact us about information you have sent. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information or object to certain processing. Explain the request without sending identity documents unless a proportionate verification step is actually needed. We will consider the request under the applicable circumstances.
